oak is a central tree in many european cultures, with stories rooted in nordic, celtic, and even ancient greek mythologies. a symbol of strength, fertility, stability, and life itself, it’s no wonder this sturdy beast is also a symbol linked to the summer solstice and the longest day of the year.

this colourwork hat uses natural brown sheep shades from the shetland breed to show off its unique leaves, and dapples up to a contrasting canopy at the crown. knit loosely to keep your tension even across the longer floats, and you should be able to fit this hat on your head and your dear ones’ without problem.
